Rostrevor Hotel Update!

I had quite an exciting day yesterday! I finally got a chance to see what the rooms in Rostrevor hotel looked like completely dressed!! I am LOVING the way my prints look with the coordinating fabrics!!

I can't wait to get started on the next one!!

The new rooms are finally coming together at Rostrevor and there's excitement all around!! I took a sneak peek at some of my artwork in the rooms today :)

The last of the butterflies

I had every intention of updating on Thursday but things got a little hectic after the whole recolouring the wrong image fiasco. I did manage to get it all done though so here's a sample of it.

I imagine you're almost as sick of looking at these blasted butterflies as I am (if you've been following my progess that is, otherwise hello and welcome)! In any case I won't be posting any more for a while as I move on to other things. Things such as the meeting I have tomorrow to discuss a new project!

To be honest I wasn't even going to mention that in case it doesn't go well and I'm forced to write an embarrassing follow-up post about how much I suck. In fact all now I'm wondering if I should delete it and save myself while I still can!!

Making my blog pretty again

Apologies to anyone who visited my blog in the last few days expecting to see pretty things and was greeted instead by long rambling complaints about my lack of success with the immigration department. I will try to keep those types of posts to a minimum!

In an attempt to win back your favour here's some pretty things.

I've been asked to recolour and rework these pieces from my website to match the colour scheme of other rooms in the hotel. For those who are just tuning in, this is an ongoing project with a hotel abroad that will hopefully be complete before Christmas.  I can't wait to see it all come together!! :)

I'll add the other colourways as I go so be on the look out for them.

Since my last post I did manage to pull it together......sort of.

.......anyway, I'm not getting in to that. The important thing is I finished my work :)
And in other news I'm another step closer to being done with my hotel project! I've just been asked to produce a piece to match this one.

I probably won't get a chance to work on it until the weekend but I'll update as soon as I put pencil to paper!

Project Update #2

Here is another drawing done for Rostrevor Hotel. I may post the other colourways another time....we'll see. I'll update again as soon as I get the go ahead to print. Fingers crossed in the meantime!!    

Project Update

I've just remembered that I was supposed to post an update for a project I've been working on for a while. I was asked to produce some artwork for a hotel here in Barbados. We're still in negotiations for printing costs & framing etc so, not sure how long the whole process is gonna take before completion. My part is essentially done tho. I posted a few examples a while back and since then have been working on some alternative colourways. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure........
 

With any luck everything will be printed and hung soon! If and when it all comes together I'll be straight on here with an update! ;)
